Saturday December 2nd SOUTHAM stepped up their Midlands Five West (South) title charge with 21-3 success at Coventry Welsh. All the points came in the first half during which Welsh were reduced to 14 men following the 15th minute dismissal of a flanker. Winger John Campbell helped himself to two tries, with Roger Killick adding a conversion and three penalties. The second half was scrappy but Southam defended well with Pete Burnell and Charlie Richardson to the fore. |
